Favorite and Meaningful Quotes

Favorite Book

This book reminds me of when I was a child and had a puppy that liked to get into everything and destroy it.  So I had to teach him how to respect things or my mom would give it away.

Child That Touched my Heart

I feel very honored to have three step-daughters each of them has touched my heart in a way that I can't explain.  I like that fact that they have been able to see me as their dad and I felt very proud to walk my oldest step-daughter down the isle.  They have utterly changed my life.

My son loves to draw and he likes to decorate my wall in my office

Even though there are still many stereotypes and people constructs having male in early childhood education.  My goal is to enrich every kid's life and encourage children to do what they love no matter what others think.

Comment: What an amazing experience and not to mention brave! When I moved to California I could not wait to visit the beach and swim out as far as I could until I saw a seal and a dolphin. I was too scared to swim out every again. Knowledge is scary when you get older ^_^

  2. Post: Favorite and Meaningful Quotes: "Children learn more from what you are than what you teach."

Response: I have this quote up in my blog as well. It's important to lead by example in every aspect of Early Education. Children learn from the adults in there life, we are very important to these young ones lives.

Reply: This quote caught my attention because I come from a family of mothers and fathers that say "do as I say, not as I do," and they wonder why the same things carry from one generation to the next. We have to remember children don't develop and beging to master abstract thought skills until early adolescents, so what we demonstrate early on, they will copy and develop asa habit and way of life. Thanks for sharing.
