“My Support”
I remember growing
up and being cared by my mother, grandfather and grandmother. I never met my father because he left my
mother when I was two years old, so I do not remember him at all. As a child my grandparents were my support as
I grew up. At the age of 24 years I met my
beautiful wife. I came to the United
States not knowing what to expect and having to learn English was nerve wrecking. I knew that I needed to learn the language if
I wanted to succeed. My wife was very
understanding and had so much patience as I went through this process of
learning a new language and new culture.
She has been my rock in everything I have done and has supported me
completely. I know that I have succeeded
in my career, education and personal life because of her unconditional support.
She encouraged and supported me to
continue with my education. I know that
I would not be where I am now without having her love and support. We have a strong family bond that I know that
it is the fuel that keeps us looking towards the future.

Miguel,
ReplyDeleteThe strength, encouragement, love, and support your wife provides you is your greatest support system. I am sure you provide her with the strength, encouragement, and love, so that you are her support system. Relationships provide us with the challenge to push ourselves to be the best we can be and support us to reach our fullest potential.
Wishing you well,
Donna
Miguel,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. My father left at a young age and I only saw him in passing growing up. Thankfully you had a supportive family to make sure you were taken care of. Did you come to America at 24 or earlier than that?
Miguel,
ReplyDeleteI think support people in our lives must be understanding and patient of all things. Sounds like your wife possess some of those key qualities. Thank you for sharing this post.
